Carbon Footprint Management

At Sistem Alüminyum, we regard emissions management as one of our core responsibilities in combating climate change. In line with our low-carbon manufacturing approach, we systematically monitor, measure and report our greenhouse gas emissions while implementing improvement initiatives focused on emissions reduction.

Our corporate carbon footprint is calculated in accordance with ISO 14064-1, and the resulting data is independently verified in line with ISO 14064-3. This process enables us to monitor our emissions performance transparently and reliably.

To manage our environmental impact at product level, we have completed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies for six product groups and obtained Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). In 2025, we also completed the LCA study and obtained an EPD for our low-carbon VERDEX product.

To comply with our obligations under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), we have established the infrastructure required to monitor and report the embedded carbon emissions of our products. Increasing the use of renewable energy, selecting low-carbon raw materials and monitoring supply chain emissions will remain among our priority areas in the coming period.

Our air emissions are monitored in accordance with legal requirements, with the relevant measurements conducted every two years as stipulated by applicable regulations.
