Billet & Verdex
Low-Carbon Billet, Circular Production
Developed through our R&D and innovation efforts, Verdex is our low-carbon aluminium billet that combines resource efficiency with high performance. With 87% aluminium scrap content, optimized production processes and low-carbon raw materials, we return aluminium to the production cycle and contribute to the circular economy.
Keeping Resources in Circulation
By recycling aluminium scrap in Verdex production, we help reduce the need for primary raw materials and conserve natural resources. We place aluminium’s recyclability at the heart of our production approach, supporting the continued use of valuable resources.

Documented Environmental Performance
We assess Verdex’s environmental impacts through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and transparently report its environmental performance through an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This provides our customers with documented environmental data to support material selection and sustainability initiatives.
Low Carbon, High Performance
Through optimized production processes and low-carbon raw materials, we support the reduction of carbon emissions while focusing on maintaining product performance. Verdex offers an aluminium billet solution designed to meet quality and reliability expectations while contributing to our customers’ sustainability goals.
Our continuous homogenisation furnace delivers high homogenisation efficiency, excellent dimensional stability and a uniform material structure in aluminium billets. Quality control tests conducted before and after production enable us to monitor our processes meticulously and ensure production to high quality standards.
AirSlip Billet Casting
Wagstaff® AirSlip® Air Casting Technology enables us to produce high-quality billets with a smooth surface finish, small shell zone and uniform-grain structure. This technology delivers production performance that meets the world standard for billet quality.
