Cashouse

Cashouse

Our 2,600 m² casthouse comprises five melting furnaces, a casting pit, a homogenisation furnace and cooling chambers. Supported by state-of-the-art equipment, our processes use automated systems for material feeding, discharge and charging operations.

Our casthouse produces billets in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10-inch diameters, with lengths of up to 7,000 mm. In addition to standard alloys, we can produce alloys tailored to specific customer requirements.

To assure product quality, samples are taken from the molten metal before each cast and from the billets after casting, and their chemical composition is analysed using a spectrometer. Following homogenisation, shell thickness measurements, microstructural inspection, segregation analysis and grain boundary analysis are carried out to ensure rigorous quality control.
